Don't try  to hide radiators or heater ducts with curtains or furniture. Hiding them will block a lot of the heat meaning it will take more electricity to heat a room. Instead buy ducts you like which will hopefully be a once in a life time investment and will take less resources than trying to heat a room through a curtain.
